Tribute to Denis Johnston, 1948 - 2022

I knew Denis slightly from BT, though we never had the opportunity to work closely together. When he joined the Suffolk Humanist and Secularist group, after his retirement, I appreciated what a lovely, good-humoured and kind man he was. When he became the chairman of the group he gave his time generously and thoughtfully, and kept the discussions going with anecdotes and clever contributions. He produced the group newsletter and led the re-vamping and maintainance of the website, despite his many other interests, activities and commitments. He will be sorely missed indeed, and long and fondly remembered.
